This Bronco is unlike any other Bronco used by the MSP. Most people are familiar with the "Truck Team" Broncos used for years, all of which were used for commercial enforcement. This was not one of them. When this vehicle first went into service, it was shipped to and used on Nantucket Island as a patrol vehicle. Yes, it even patrolled the beaches! The MSP are very picky about their fleet looking consistent. This vehicle, was an exception while it was on Nantucket Island for seven years. To save funds, the MSP never painted this vehicle their signature "French and Electric Blue" yet was still a marked (had all decals mounted) patrol vehicle. On top of that, this vehicle also had two spotlights, which is unheard of for the MSP. While on the island, the original trooper assigned to this vehicle made modifications including the removal of the grill guard, relocation of blue lights, added a Whelen Edge lightbar, added rain guards and most notably, new American Racing Wheels. Normally such modifications are frowned upon, however since this vehicle was stuck on the island, no one ever really knew the difference. Today, it simply makes it that extra special and unique.
