This LTD was in service with the town of Wethersfield, CT. Since the unit number was 3, I wanted to keep the unit number as 3. When thinking about the restoration of this car, in order to make it as genuine as possible, this would have to become a Massachusetts Turnpike Authority car and not a regular MSP car, as only the MTA ordered the 90-91 body style. Since it will become an MTA semi-marked (slick top) car, to be correct, the unit number has to have an "E" after it to designate it as a Troop E car. This is why I chose to make the car unit 3E.
