This 1989 Mustang SSP is a genuine SSP, but did not serve with the Massachusetts State Police or the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority. It did have service life as 1 of 2 Camden Country Sheriff's cars in GA, both of which were used by investigators. It is one of my favorite colors (Bright Regatta Blue Exterior, Regatta Blue interior). Although it was originally equipped with a manual transmission, it was later swapped to an automatic for track use since it was a drag car.
The reason why I'm dubbing this car with a code 10-7FR is because it will serve as a promotional car for 10-7 First Response by SCC Gear, LLC. Instead of being restored back to it's GA roots, it will be restored to the specifications of the Massachusetts State Police. Before selling my unmarked MSP 2702 Mustang to a museum, I thought about making this an unmarked MTA car. I decided to stick with marked cars though.
Look forward to more updates on this car soon!
